"Cancelled my appointment without even telling me"

About: Charles Clifford Dental Hospital

Absolutely atrocious! I try to book an appointment on a Friday because it's more convenient than any other day of the week. I get told that I can only book on a thrusday, so I book an appointment well in advance so that I get get the time off. Comes to the day of the appointment and I ring to double check the time and get told that there is no appointment and there has never been an appointment.

Hmm well I got told that I can't book an appointment on a Friday so I have to book on a Thursday. I book an appointment for the Thursday and then get told on the day that I didn't have an appointment!

Now I have to wait months to get the teeth out while they decays in my mouth.

A few moments later the clerk passes me on to someone more senior. They then tell me that there was an appointment but it got cancelled because my doctor is on holiday. But why didn't I get told! Well the person who should have, rang me, emailed me or sent a letter to me has left.

So all in all I booked an appointment on a day I didn't want to book, took time off work, got my partner to take time off work and they couldn't send me a letter to tell me that I no longer had an appointment. Hospital tell you not to cancel appointments last minute because it costs the hospital lots of money!! Well what about me! I've lost a full days pay and so has my partner!!!

Sort it out!
