"Transportation problems"

I have recently had surgery for breast cancer, now I need follow up appointments fro chemotherapy. I am on benefits and live in Bodmin. I need transport to and from Treliske. Next week I have 2 appointments and after that during Jan/Feb another 5 so far. Using taps transport is costing £28.00 each way, thats £112.00 next week alone. I have spoken to 5 people today to arrange free or far less money for this to take place. I have yet again hit a brick wall, I KNOW the free transport is there. How do I go about applying for this? Help!!
