"Incredible day watching my daughter give birth"

Today I watched my daughter give birth to her 4th baby.

I’ve heard the conquest get a bad press sometimes but I have to give credit where it’s due. The birthing pool room is amazing, huge, with everything you could need in it. My grandson slid gently into this world this afternoon at 5pm after arriving from eastbourne at 3.30 pm. The care from her lovely midwife was exemplary. She was given a lovely meal. Nothing was rushed or clinical.

She had been terrified of coming to the conquest but now we can’t praise it highly enough. Huge, welcoming, clean with amazing staff

Well done to all and thanks for the care of my daughter and her new born Finley
