"A first class service all round"

About: Victoria Hospital / Cardiology

(as a service user),

I recently had to attend a short notice appointment in relation to a suspected heart problem at the above hospital.

The staff on the ward (21) were welcoming and friendly and explained what procedures would be carried out on me fully and thoroughly.

The staff were very calming and helpful and this put me at ease.

The tests carried out on me very done very quickly and the results also returned promptly and again fully explained.

I felt I was wasting their time being there but was reassured this was not the case and the staff were happy to help.

As it turned out the result was not heart related and I cannot thank the staff enough for their help, professionalism and calming influence, a first class service all round.

Dear Polisman,

Thank you for finding the time to post your experience on care opinion.

I'm sure it must have a been very stressful coming to hospital with a suspected heart problem and its great to hear your investigations where fully explained and your results were back promptly and you felt reassured by your attendance to ward 21.

As a nursing team we wish you a full recovery and I'll ensure your thanks are forwarded to the team who I'm sure will be thrilled to read your comments.

Take care

Jamie Gorman
