"Care for my dad"

About: Royal Stoke University Hospital

My dad came into resus , the dr and nurses there were kind , thoughtful and clear about what was happening to Dad. He then went to A and E where again the staff were so good. He was then transferred to the acute unit where he came under the purple bow scheme. This was amazing. Dad at all times was treated with dignity, care and respect. As a family we were told what was Happening every step of the way. All I can say is a huge thank you to all who were with us right to the end of Dads life.

Thank you so much for taking time to comment on your experience of our hospital- particularly at such as difficult time. Please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your father.

I will ensure I share your lovely feedback with the teams in A&E and AMU. I know they will very much appreciate it.

With best wishes

Rebecca Pilling, Quality Improvement Facilitator: Patient Experience.
