What could be improved
Admission was via A & E in an ambulance. This whole experience was dreadful. we waited for 2hours in a corridor with no pain relief and a fractured hip. We still had not got a bed in a ward at 12.30am, this was after 5 hours. After the op, patient was transferred to orthopedic ward, where it was very difficult to get any information as the staff were very busy and seemed short staffed.
