I recall my stay in Northwick Park Hospital earlier this year as being friendly and welcoming. The staff were always very helpful and engaging. The Doctors ensured my medications were reviewed regularly and that I was receiving the right treatment. I was also encouraged to use unescorted leave regularly so that I was always in contact with the community. The Occupational Therapists put on a range of activities for me to become involved with and other staff members ensured there was a balance of therapeutic daytime activities including yoga, gym, relaxation, psychology, smoothie group, healthy eating, art therapy, games group, music therapy and cooking group.
