"Out of hours doctor through 111"

I’m so annoyed my daughter who was suffering for 2 weeks with her throat got worse on the weekend so I took her to cossham out of hours to be told she had phlarynjitus and would not give us a prescription

I then had to make another doctors appointment next day with my own surgery

To be told it was a aggressive Tonsilitus

And needs 10 days of antibiotics

I feel so let down by the whole system

I’m not a doctor but it was obvious it was tonsilitus !!! My poor girl has to suffer longer now !!!
