"Happy with my visit to the eye clinic"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Patient Transport Service University Hospital Ayr / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I have been visiting Ayr Eye hospital for the last 4 months to get injections in my eye.  When I went yesterday I didnt get the injection.  I was so pleased with the way the lady explained why.  She told me I had an infection in my other eye and they wouldnt want to do the injection until it was all clear.

The ambulance people were great and all of the staff are always nice.

I left the hospital yesterday quite happy to not have to get the injection but also understanding why.  Thank you

Our ambulance crews do a fantastic job and try very hard to put patients at ease whilst delivering a high level of care. It is great to hear directly from patients who have had such positive experiences.
