"The service and the empathy given by all staff was exceptional"

My wife discovered a painful lump on her breast and after being seen by GP was told it was 4-6 weeks wait for a referral to Wishaw Breast Clinic. However she was given an appointment within 5 days and attended The Breast Clinic at Wishaw General. We were seen by clinic staff and Dr Todd the Consultant within 20 minutes. My wife was given a mammogram and an ultrasound and reviewed again by a Consultant. Having been very distressed on finding the lump, the care, the service and the empathy given by all staff was exceptional. She received a positive and happy diagnosis. We would like to thank all the CSWs, Nurses, and the Consultant for their care and kindness which is necessary at a very emotionally stressful time.
