"Nightmare"

About: Croydon University Hospital / Maternity

First time I came nothing was done as I was experiencing palpitation sat for 5 hours with a newborn then went home as doctor were busy. Came to AE as Of 20/11/17 after being unwell since I had a baby 12 days ago, sat in AE for 2 hours only after this I see a porter with a wheelchair “I am here to take you to maternity triage”. No nurse or doctor came to tell that I was going, got a bit upset and then a nurse cane and said it was policy that postpartum before 28 day needed to go to maternity triage and that gynae knew I was on my way there.

Off we went with the porter at (22:00), got to maternity triage, porter knocked on the door, midwife came “who’s this, no one called us, why are you here” no communication between staff and at least introduce yourself . Was sent back to wait for another hour.

Doctor came didn’t reallly help despite telling them that I was on antibiotic for uti and symptom were getting worse they didn’t care and said it cause you’ve given birth that’s why your tired, I know my body and said go to your GP. There’s nothing I can do, I was shivering and can barely walk. Left with a cannula in my arm as no one bothered to ask if I had one.

Has to take it myself at home.

Worse experience ever thank God I had my baby at St Helier hospital.
