"Absolutely lovely surgery, very confused by..."

So having reading other reviews I have decided to take the time in writing my own to reflect how I feel the surgery performs.

There is a lot of negativity about the length of time for a routine appointment however this is quite common amongst most GP surgeries.

When an urgent medical problem has occurred I've never seen a patient told to wait longer than 24 hours for an appointment.

The staff are fantastic.

Reception & management - All non-clinical staff that I have encountered have been polite, professional and cope very well under pressure at busy times.

Doctors - There isnt a bad word I can say about any of the GP's that I have met. They are regularly spending the time to explain things and often make sure they check they have covered all areas to be sure.

Nurses & HCAs - They are wonderful. Such passion and consideration for patient care and dignity goes into their work effort. It is evident by the conversations I have overheard when patients are talking to other patients.

This surgery is one of the nicest I have been to and the staff are what makes it so lovely.

Ignore the previous reviews about waiting times because if you have an urgent problem then you will always be seen.

Credit where credit is due, people are so quick to complain but hardly take the time to commend when things are going well. This surgery is a professional, dedicated and has very hard working staff. Keep up the good work Stokewood!
