"Struggling to contact anyone"

I have recently been referred to this department via my GP. I was meant to receive an appointment confirmation letter 3 weeks ago but still nothing. I have so far spent over 45minutes on the phone to mulitiple different people and robots trying to get confirmation of my appointment but at my most recent attempt an answer machine told me no one was available to take my call and it shut down the conversation. I am still no closer to establishing confirmation for my appointment or what that (my appointment) will even consist of? I find this slightly concerning - I intend to drive to my appointment but I have recently discovered I may not be able to drive after my appointment! I have Was only disclosed this information after briefly getting through to a receptionist earlier today. Perhaps this information would have been disclosed in an appointment confirmation letter? I don’t know as I haven’t got one. It would be nice if someone could contact me so I can get some clarity before my appointment on 29th October.
