"Frustrating"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / General medicine

I was pushed from pillar to post in this hospital to the point where I felt so depressed, after no body could tell me what was happening. It was awful, frustrating and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone! I was put on IV antibiotics but no body would tell me why I kept getting infections, nor did they care to investigate the main issue! I was moved from the surgical ward, to plastics and burns, to another ward (none of which was my actual problem!). Also, they complain about a lack of beds and yet in the plastics and burns ward I had the whole ward to myself!! There was so many beds it was rediculous! After staying in the hospital for a week I saw some dreadful things: sick was left on the ward without cleaning it, a woman who had an infection after surgery and they wouldn’t deal with it they told her to get re admitted down at A&E she had been discharged! The staff weren’t at all nice, caring or sympathetic!

Months on and I am still waiting for answers as to why I keep getting infections...
