"Great care from ward B12 during difficult times."

(as a relative),

As we adjust to our dear Uncle (& Adoptive father) passing away, we need to acknowledge the amazing staff and care that he experienced during his multiple stays with the B12 Ward at Forth Valley over the last few months.

Taking time to care for him, assist us with our concerns and getting to know the family showed that the whole team provides much more than the medical and caring expertise that was also evident.

We were overwhelmed by the wonderful staff in B12 who were central to the overall healthcare that included Consulting, Porters, Nursing staff, Doctors, Medical Assistants, Occupational Health, Palliative Care, Macmillan support and Tea/Catering staff.

The B12 team made our dear Uncle (& Adoptive father)'s last days as comfortable and respectful as possible and we want to recognise that.

Thank you so very much for your very thoughtful feedback at such a difficult time for both you and your family.

It is reassuring to hear that the care delivered to your Uncle ( adoptive father) was to the very best standard, it is wonderful that you were very much involved in his care and that staff got to know you which is vital to ensure that the highest standard of person centred care is delivered.

I will pass this very positive feedback onto the team in ward B12, thank you again for taking the time to share your experience with us.
