"Revision knee replacement + pneaumonia"

About: Northern General Hospital

Arrived to have my revision knee replacement. Only for things to go seriously wrong during my operation when I aspirated stomach acid caused by enlarged hiatus hernia back down into my lungs resulting in pneamonia. Thank goodness for the Consultant and their first class team. I was in hospital much longer than anticipated but received the best care ever from all staff at various levels of duties and responsibilities. Thank you to you all. Sandra Kilner
