"My pain is so much better"

About: Ayrshire Hospice

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

This is my first time in the place, in fact I’d never heard of the Ayrshire Hospice before I was involved. I was in terrible pain and was told that the hospice specialise in pain control for my condition.

The referral went very smoothly, in fact I was in the hospice the next day. This is only my second day here and already my pain is so much better and the consultant was so down to earth, just how I like people to be.

The hospital could take a leaf out of the hospice’s book when it comes to cleanliness, and everyone here has been so helpful.

The treatment I’ve received has been out of this world, to anyone who might be worried about coming to the hospice; don’t be- I’d walk here if I had to.
