I went to a and e due to health issues resulting from blooD clots being found in my lungs on the Tuesday before.
The department is under refurbishment which I understand.
I was seen within 10minutes with triage doctor then was called to have bloods and eco cardiogram on my heart.
All treatment was given with care and compassion
What I could not understand is why some sort of temporary door was not in place entering the dept.
Consequently 4 to 5 degree wind was coming into a and e waiting area where there were babies elderly and everyone complaining how cold it was.
I also had a cold on top of the clots in my lungs and felt very poorly.
The only door in place was the one leading to the outside which is why the wind was coming straight in.
I am not sure if you are aware however as we are heading into winter I wanted to raise the issue. And hopefully it can be resolved for the safety of patients visiting. Thank you
