"Hip Fracture Repair"

I was admitted to Needham Ward after fracturing my hip and was there for six days. It was a very busy ward but the care I received was excellent in every way, nothing was too much trouble. This was my first experience of a hospital stay and surgery and was a pleasant surprise if you can call a hospital stay pleasant. The attitude of all the staff meant I felt totally reassured about my care at all times, the ward was always clean and someone was always available to assist or advise me, the doctors, nurses, care assistants and physiotherapists really worked as a team, I cannot praise them too highly.
