"NHS Leigh Better Than Private"

Having had several visits to the Urology Department of Leigh Infirmary, I am urged to write some positive comments in respect of my experiences.

Having had so much negative Media exposure in recent times, my NHS experiences were far from dissatisfactory. The building and medical facilities were extremely clean and presented to the highest standards. The staff were superb in every way - given that they must see so many patients with a similar conditions to mine, they were very welcoming, friendly, well-informed and totally professional in every way. I was made to feel like I was the only patient they had seen all day. Some treatments are not pleasant, but they made me feel both relaxed, comfortable and reassured.

What a treasure our NHS is - who needs to go private ?

Thank you for taking the time to post your most positive comments in respect of the Richmond Unit on the Leigh Infirmary site. It is something that the Trust in very proud of and which offers one stop treatment, where appropriate, to our patients.
