"I had to call a paramedic "

About: Holly Hall Clinic NHS Direct NHS Trust

(as other),

I travelled back from Germany and had a asthma attack and had pains in my chest and ribs due to alot of coughing.

On way back from airport popped into Holly Hall Clinic as it is a walk in centre and explained my symptons and was told that they were fully booked.

As it was a asthma attack and I was grey looking. They told me to go to A&E at Russells Hall would could have been a long wait.

I went home and phoned NHS Direct who were really helpful and spoke to a doctor who told me that Holly Clinic would phone me in 10 minutes as she had sorted an extra appointment out.

The doctor phoned me back and asked if I received a call from the clinic - The answer was no so told me to phone A&E.

A paramedic came to me house and sorted me out.

The moral of this story is that Holly Hall Clinic - A so called walk in centre could not get me in and they did not bother to phone me back.
