A few months ago we took our 6year old son to the GP as he seemed to have a nasty cough, we were immediately sent to ward 19 in wishaw general, we were quickly shown to a room where the nurse -sorry can't recall your name was lovely, she asked us some questions and we were moved to a bed area and the doctor saw us extremely quickly and my son was given a nebuliser. Although it was shocking busy, we felt we were treated efficiently, we eventually were moved into ward 20 and introduced to our nurse Jackie, who again was absolutely lovely, she explained all about my son's illness and what was likely to happen in his care and was really attentive, then the nightshift came in and we met nurse Gillian and a nursing helper Pamela, again such wonderful staff, our stay was thankfully short and we cannot praise the staff high enough, they really do go out their way to help, nothing is too much trouble, thank you
"Fantastic nursing staff at children's unit"
