"WARD 23 AND PICU"

About: Freeman Hospital / Cardiology

My little boy had a short stay of 15 days between ward 23 and PICU while he underwent open heart surgery and all the staff on both units are absolutely fantastic especially the nurses they are what holds everything together they are there for you as a parent in your deepest darkest hour they are there for you at your happiest they keep everything running smoothly they put there all in to the care of all the children and babies on the units and everything they do they do it without breaking a sweat and take everything in there stride nothing is to big or little of a ask to them they are always warm and welcoming and they are always syphathetic and compassionate the surgeons are next to none the very best at what they do and the doctors well they are just inbetween it's really is the nurses who deserves all the credit (apart from the amazing sergons) because the nurses literally deal with it all and in my opinion could do the job of the doctors standing on there heads.... not meaning to call your doctors it's just your nurses are literally angels in nurses uniforms they don't seem to get enough credit as what they should.. So heres a huge shout out to all the nurses on ward 23 and PICU keep up the brilliant work on getting our babies and children fit and well again... and thank you so much for helping to fix my little Charlie ? we will never forgot any of yous
