"Day Surgery Experience 10 Nov 2017"

Went in a for an operation - keyhole surgery - and from the moment I set foot in the Day Surgery Unit and right to the moment I left, I received excellent care and attention. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. I felt valued and cared for by the staff I encountered.

They were thoroughly professional, courteous and, well, just excellent.

The NHS gets a lot of critics but they should consider a world without it and then they might realise just how amazing it really is. As a UK citizen I feel nothing but pride in what the NHS does and what achieves on a daily basis. I appreciate the pressures that the organisation faces everyday and the financial demands it makes, but it’s is worth every single penny and more.

Absolutely outstanding and I’d appreciate it if the staff who cared for me could hear my views - I thanked all I spoke to that I could but I really feel they should all know what a fantastic job they do.
