"Birth of my baby"

About: Royal Berkshire Hospital / Maternity care

The whole experience at RBH was a great one, though as to be expected the birth of my daughter didn't go entirely to the ideal plan. The staff in the Delivery suite and Marsh ward were all amazing, lovely and great at the jobs. They took the time to listen to me or explain the situation and allowed me to build a trusting relationship with them.

The room I was given in the delivery suite was really high standard and was generally impressed throughout my stay.

Thank you to everyone who made labour (and the scariness of being a new mother for the first time) to be as nice at it possibly could!

Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback; the matron will ensure this is passed on to all the staff. The Delivery Suite will be particularly pleased with regards to the room - as a team they have spent time looking at how to make the rooms pleasant for families and raised charitable funds to achieve this. We are so pleased we were able to support you in your birth experience. Congratulations.
