"Prescription suspended suddenly."

About: Dr Amanda M Davies & Dr C S Jayakumar

My husband has taken a medication for decades that he has to take every day without fail. He got a letter saying he needed a blood test for said medication and giving him a prescription for just 7 days! He had the blood test same day but only had enough tablets for 5 days. Went to surgery this morning only to be told the best they had was 23rd November for a telephone appointment. Apparently its a new system, as usual doesnt benefit the patients at all and invloves total inefficiency. When he said his tablets run out soon they couldn't care less, just a shrug of the shoulders! He has mental health issues which involve paranoia so now I have a distraught husband! The results for blood test won't be back til Tuesday and his tablets run out then, what is he supposed to do? This surgery was brilliant up until few years ago, what's happened to it? No one seems to care about patients wellbeing or making accessing appointments easy. Don't get me started on their daft time wasting triage system and why can't I get an appointment at Peartree anymore? Its always Moors Walk.
