"Excellent service"

About: Chapel Allerton Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

I had a total left hip replacement in 2012 after 30 odd years of pain. I was petrified, as when I got there I was told I would have to have an epidural. I am diabetic, so I needed to eat as soon as I was out of theatre. It was brilliant! I would definitely opt for that if I ever needed my other hip doing! My life has changed so much, I can walk up hills with no hip pain at all! Thank you all at the orthapaedic ward, from the consultant to the cleaning staff and especially the anaethsatist (spelt wrong!!!) who looked after me and even chose the playlist on my iPod!!!
