"One Year Later..."

About: Moorfields Eye Hospital (City Road Campus) / Ophthalmology

Over one year since my first appointment and I am still yet to have the surgery - very simple and straight forward day surgery might I add. Countless lack of communication and rescheduling/cancellation of appointments.

Constantly just being fobbed off, how it can take months to speak to a colleague in another department puzzles me.

I finally got a date for surgery right near christmas, which is not ideal, so I asked for it to be changed. One month later....nothing.

The worse part is, that I have to keep chasing as no one EVER gets back to you.

Just an awful experience from start and it's no where near finished.

I am sorry to hear that you have had difficulties in this and can understand how frustrating this can be for you. Could I suggest you call our Patient Support and Liaison Service (PALS) on 020 7566 2054 or 2324 who will hopefully be able to sort this out for you.
