I had an elective c section at womens in November 2017. From the pre op appointment to the procedure I felt the service and care were very good and the staff were professional, friendly and thorough. On the day of the procedure things were delayed due to other emergencies coming up but I was kept up to date.
The staff who did my c section were all great and put me at my ease. A huge thank you to the midwife who was just amazing!!!
The recovery part was good. All in all a very pleasant experience.
The only slight negative was that the ward bathroom and loo weren't very modern or functional and they do like to have patients discharged after 24 hours after a section which felt a bit rushed. Other than that I can't fault the staff on the ward.
