I came into hospital after fracturing my knee. I spent hours in A and E. After this lengthy delay I was placed in the Bramshott Ward.
This ward is filled to the brim with hardworking staff, who exhibit excellence in all aspects of care. No detail is omitted, happy, smiling, positive and compassionate to all. The support you receive here is so kind and their dedication makes it easier to heal.
The only issues I found difficult are the following
1) the ward is very noisy at night making it difficult to sleep
2) lights are left on also preventing a restful atmosphere
3) food delivered was either cold, over cooked, or utterly flavourless
Physiotherapty, and occupational health were sincerely gentle, kind and informative in their approach. Listening to the patient, and cheerfully saying they’d do everything possible to make your recovery a good experience. Taking the time to ensure the process was not pushed but steadily making progression in a comfortable manner. .
Finally, I think staff at Royal Surrey as wonderful, devoted, dedicated, and greatly compassionate. I truly feel as if I have great new friends in the staff at Surrey Royal!
"Thank you"
