"Fishing accident"

About: The Tunbridge Wells Hospital / A&E and trauma unit

Just out for days fishing with my son Thursday 2nd November, thought I would go for walk round lake slipped down the bank caught ankle in pot hole at bottom and dislocated and broke my ankle, very pain full

Was taken to pembury hospital by ambulance paramedics and crew exceptional.

On arrival was taken to A&E for accesment, had X-rays and foot put back in place and plastered up, met with orthopaedic surgeon and had to have another opp as alignment needed re doing .

Spent next day in orthopaedic recovery ward, will need surgery in couple of weeks time once swelling has gone down.

I am writing this review with thanks to all the staff at tonbridge wells hospitals and to all the staff I came in contact with from cleaners, porters, nurses, physio, imaging, doctors and consultants. All where pleasent, helpful, careing, polite and efficient and all made my stay a pleasure, can't thank them enough.

Dear John, thanks for taking the time to comment on your recent experiences of our hospital.

We hope you are recovering well from your injury.

We've passed your thanks on to the departments involved in your care and know that they will be gratefully received.

With kind regards, The PALS Team.
