"Well run, with good standard of GPs"

The Surgery operates a Triage system, where you ring for an appointment and are then vetted by the reception before a Doctor will ring you back and offer an appointment (if urgent; within the hour). I appreciate that a lot of people think this is "jumping through hoops" but, I've been visiting this surgery for over 30 years and have memories of the old days of sitting in the waiting room for a very long time for non-booked appointments, and think this is a far better system for both Doctors and patients.

The GPs and Nurses that I've dealt with are all very good; with one Doctor being particularly exceptional. I'd echo the comments that the reception staff can be a little brusque and a lack of privacy at the front desk can be a problem.
