"Overworked staff in Sheffield renal services"

My experience so far with my ongoing kidney treatment at Northern General is a tale of two parts.

All the people who work there have a great attitude towards their work and their patients, including cleaning staff, catering staff, medical staff.

Unfortunately they are so overworked it seems to be a continuing series of errors, appointments, discharge letters, prescriptions etc. I have never encountered so many errors and inconsistencies when visiting a hospital.

Overall I would say the staff are trying their utmost to keep afloat the sinking ship, but there are fundamental errors of either mismanagement or underfunding.
