"Follow up appointment for results"

About: Warwick Hospital / Rheumatology

I left the hospital feeling very anxious and dissatisfied after my follow appointment to review the results of tests for RA and to receive a conclusive diagnosis. The information was incomplete and there were questions about my results which were unanswerable until the nurse concerned had spoken to the consultant.

I did wondered why this hadn't been done in advance of my appointment?

In essence I had driven for 70 miles just to be told I had RA but couldn't start treatment because there was something showing on my test results which they couldn't explain.

I was left very anxious and upset as to how serious this was and still the questions have not been answered.
