"I'm not frightened to come to the hospital"

About: Royal Manchester Children's Hospital

(as the patient),

I'm 8 years old and I've been to the children's hospital a few times and i have to wait quite a long time every time. The doctors i've seen have been friendly. i think it's good that the doctor always explains what's happening to me.

I'd like it if there were more games machines- 4 instead of 3!

I'd think there should be subway in the hospital!

I'm not frightened to come to the hospital, apart from when I'm here for tests.

The staff say things in a way I can understand it.

Thank you for your comments.

We're really please that you don't find the hospital a frightening place and that the staff explain things to you well.

We are always looking at ways to make people's experiences better and are currently trying to find ways to make the play area better for young people while they are waiting (as we know the waits can sometimes be long). Please post back if you have any more suggestions for entertainment or toys.

Thanks again.
