Saw someone beginning of sept after waiting 4 months in crisis. Crisis team said they were too busy when they were called, didn't call back then went home without leaving even a note that I'd called (my mum on my behalf) and was in need. I was suicidal and had been having painful palpitations for over 12 hours from how bad I was. Parents took me to a&e as I actually got some help there not hung up on and forgotten. After my appt in sept the Dr there prescribed me 2 weeks worth of medication and sent me on my way. I had to fight my Dr to get a repeat prescription of it as even now almost two months later no letter has been sent to my GP (or myself) as promised, that I even attended an appt let alone was legitimately prescribed meds. On top of that, despite many people with mental health not being able to use phones to speak on including myself, there is no email provided which is shocking in this day and age so I'm stuck on being able to get someone to fax my assessment letter to my GP so I can sort my prescription. If the Dr even bothered to write one!
