Mum in law admitted to Critical Care Unit at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire with severe cerebral hypoxia secondary to acute MI (heart attack) with cardiac arrest.
The care at every level was absolutely excellent. The devotion of the staff, their compassion and professionalism, and the level of support was far beyond anything we could expect.
We lost her, her cerebral function was too far gone to recover, but none of us has any fear of death. It can be a warm and soothing passage at the end of a good life.
I will not hear any criticism of the hospital. They are superb.
