"Horrendous waiting times"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

Arrived at A&E at 6pm with chest pains and breathlessness after open heart surgery 4 weeks prior to this visit to be told to go straight through was seen by A&E Drs who listened and examined me. They decided I should be seen by medical team so had to wait to be sent to clinical desicion unit only then to be left waiting on an uncomfortable chair with no offer off pain relief or help. 5 -6 hours later didn't go to clinical desicion unit was sent to acute medical unit at around 1am to be waiting another 4 hours and I've just been told 7 in front if me as there only one doctor to see 31 patients!!!!. Absolutely appalling I'm on regular medication after heart surgery only to be told can't give me anything till see Dr in which I'm still waiting and it's 4.35am!. It's absolutely disgusting these waiting times are allowed to happen. I'm absolutely exhausted and in so much pain this shouldn't be allowed to happen. Would never come here again.
