"Thank you for all the help and support"

About: City Health Care Partnership CIC / Primary psychological and wellbeing services

(as the patient),

To Gayle and Staff at Hull IAPT

Just a few words to say thankyou for all the help and support that I received from you all over the last few months, I am truly grateful.

When I started feeling this way, I was at rock bottom and thought there was no way out, but with the help from my doctor and staff, I found the first rung of the ladder to climb out. I started getting all the help I needed and now am going good.

When depression hits you, it is deadly so please seek help. It is the sorrow that you leave behind that is worst, all the family and friends you would have let down so please seek for help because it does not cost anything. The help you will receive is 100%, you are treated with respect and can open up to the person who will help you.

When I first attended counselling with Gayle, I was a little bit nervous to what she thought about me. She put me at ease straight away. I started to relax and speak to her and I was willing to ask for her help. She was truly a great person to help me, especially when other people were pushing me down and not believing what I was telling them.

I came halfway up the ladder and certain people tried to push me down, but all the staff helped me keep my head high above the water. Even though I have been signed off now, I know where help is whenever I need it, so if you are like me at rock bottom, then don't forget there is help out there and I am glad I found out in time.

I have got through it and can now spend time with my two granddaughters. When I look back at where I was, I may not have seen my younger granddaughter 9 months now, but now I can get out there and meet friends and family and see other people all over again. So a very big thank you to all concerned, especially you Gayle. I owe you a lot.

Thank You One and All

A POEM JUST FOR YOU

At Rock Bottom, It is said it is easy to find a suicide solution to drink drugs,

Like fine wine is fine, Good malt whisky is quicker and suicide is slow with Liquor.

Please don't snicker, A glass or bottle to drown your sorrow, they flood away tomorrow's sorrow

Stupid thoughts, sad doings, cold, afraid you hang in ruins

You want to meet the reaper, then the master keeper.

You feel life's unreal, I am living a lie.

Who's to blame, Its a shame.

Now you live inside a bottle, life is full throttle

Its catching you, You don't see.

Reaper is you, Is me.

Made your bed, Inside your head.

Where to hide?

You think suicide is the only way out,

Don't you know what it's all about.
