My surgery has seen me several times for high blood pressure.
Each doctor holds their own opinion as regards to its too high, its not too bad, you don't need tablets just a change of lifestyle, you need to have these tablets, oh that dosage is too low etc.
I was taken into A&E last week and the doctor at the hospital advised a 24 hour ECG from my surgery. I saw the GP today and he says its not required. I must have been with doctor for less that 3 minutes and didn't mention my stress or other problems - got the feeling he was in a rush and just wanted me out of there.
Must add that Kettering General Hospital staff in A&E were brilliant.
"Does my BP need treating or not?"
