"Excellent treatment of a very distressed daughter"

My daughter had “peeled” the end of her finger off with a vegetable peeler and it wouldn’t stop bleeding and she had become very distressed. When we arrived at the clinic the receptionist was lovely and took time to ask my daughter what had happened and didn’t just speak to me. We were seen within 5 minutes of arriving and, again, the nurse spoke directly to my daughter. The nurse immediately put her at ease and explained every detail to her about why her finger was bleeding so much and what she was going to do to stop it. My daughter had previously been to the clinic for dressings on a burn several years before and it was then we discovered she had a fairly severe allergy to plasters.

They had records of this and made sure the dressing they applied was tied on instead of using sticking plaster or tape. The doctor also came to see my daughter and check the injury and had her laughing in seconds about looking like a mummy for Halloween.

From arrival to leaving was approximately 25 minutes.

What an excellent service with lovely staff (and this has been the case each time I have visited this service)
