"Hypocritical claims"

About: Darent Valley Hospital / Accident and emergency

I went to the hospital in the middle of the night because my little one was struggling to breathe.

I could see her lungs wheezing for air through her rib cage and am now waiting for a good 5 hours already.

The toilets are smelly and the staff don’t really care instead they try to justify the wait.

Nurses are free but there are no doctors to treat.

Sad to see Nhs standards drop so low!!!

We were sorry to read your feedback and have shared it with the Emergency Department. We know that having a poorly little one can be extremely worrying but as you can appreciate the Accident and Emergency Department is an extremely busy environment. Patients are treated in order of emergency and at the time you visited staff may have been attending to emergencies beyond your view. Please do contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01322 428382 or email dgn-tr.pals@nhs.net if you would like us to look into the concerns you have raised.

Kind regards

The Communications Team
