My husband has many ailments including vascular dementia. He had to visit Day intervention for Endoscopy. He is in his late seventies years old and he get's very distressed if I am not around.
We were met by a student nurse Megan, who took all details, during the morning other nurses, Amy, Angela, student nurse Leah led by nurse in charge Shona, were VERY attentive. As soon as my husband was taken to surgery, Amy and Shona came to me with a much needed cup of coffee and some reassuring words of comfort.
When my husband got back from theater he was so enthusiastic about how well he had been treated by Dr Shams, and his team of Jody, Mora and Jessica.
This turned what could have been a very traumatic experience into a much more pleasant time.
PLEASE, give them all a load of thanks, and as much praise as you can on these wonderful people.
