About: Asquith Surgery

I lost a baby at 16.5 weeks, due to the randoms of locum doctors.... it was not once suggested i was pregnant even though all the signs pointed to that.

No No i was deemed unaware of what life was like and sent for a test.... yes a test i was assured would find out the cause of all my problems. AKA an STD test as the doctor apparantly thought my husband of 10 years was cheating on me. after a meltdown and a showdown i left the surgery only to discover days later i was actually pregnant. i was left unaided and when i eventally discovered i was pregnant i had some bleeding i tried to get an appointment but non were avalible and so i had to make do with a phone call, which then even after everything i was sent to the hospital who could not get me in until the following fiday by which point i had lost my baby and had to deal with all that comes with this alone and unaided. Just to point out again i was 16.5 weeks pregnant this in turn was not an easy miscarriage with the delivery of my child. ill point out that 2 of the reception staff are very nice they have been there for a few years, another though is rude and invasive.... avoid this surgery at all costs. maybe if i had not been so emotional i would have moved sooner and i would be holding my baby rather than feeling let down. nature of course takes its turn on us and im not saying the outcome would have been any different however with my notes and earlier problems the alarm bells should have been raised and for that i can not forgive. the practice manager is also rude and reads your medical files ....
