"This is a review on a particular GP"

About: Brandon Street Surgery

I am particularly disgusted and concerned, that even though GP's have thorough training and information available to them when they are meeting with a patient who has general concerns about their health, a particular GP can still swat them away and state 'they are fine'. GP's prior to their meeting the patient have a full blown history available on their screen, yet they seem to ignore the main history information written in black and white and confirm the patient is ok. My father a 65 year old, with 26 years of diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure went to see a GP regarding pain in his left arm during a brisk walk with the family. Instantly the GP said he was fine and not to worry about it. I am no doctor nor did I study medicine but even I know that that issue is a cardiac issue left arm pain linked to the heart! I mean seriously this doctor not only failed to detect or conduct any tests but was too concerned about seeing other patients! If this is how a practice will conduct medical examinations on their patients GP's like this particular one who my father met should not be allowed to see patients! Luckily we went to a private examiner who has written to this GP to conduct a cardiac series of test. I am absolutely appalled at this particular GP and hope they sleep well at night knowing they could potentially risk a patients life!!!!!!!
