"Does the physio know best?"

I was referred to see the physio from a consultant working on my feet.

The referral was for a specific input from them to aid a treatment the consultant wanted to do. So I was to see the physio for a couple of sessions and then straight back to the Consultant.

On seeing the physio, she decided she knew better than the Consultant and all I needed was exercises. The reason she gave as to why I didn't have the condition the Consultant was treating me for was nonsense and having told her explanation to two GPs they have both agreed with me on this.

So instead of being referred back to the Consultant I have had months of pointless exercises that only aggravated the condition.

I have now gone back to my GP and asked to be sent directly back to the Consultant as the physio has refused!
