"Admission via a&e department"

I was admitted as an emergency from my gp. The care

I received in the a/e department was excellent and efficient,

I was kept informed at all times and I was reviewed twice by the on call surgical team. I was admitted to a ward and had a CT scan later that same evening. I received outstanding care on the ward by everyone involved. I was seen each morning by the surgical consultant and am leaving to say feeling very much better than when I entered. My sincere thanks to everyone involved in my recovery.
