About: Salisbury District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

In my experience I have found this Hospital to do exactly what its supposed to, with an organisation that may be lengthy, but is perfectly functional. As you would expect from any hospital, the waiting times for different things (unless an emergency) can be much longer than you would expect, but how can I complain when you consider the patient to staff ratio, and the lack of support all of these Doctors and Nurses recieve. It's a miracle alone that they're willing to do their jobs for the amount they get paid! I've been made comfortable for my entire stay, but I do have one complaint. The cost and quality of the TV and Phone services are utterly ridiculous, and free TV between 8&12 noon for channels 1-5 is not exactly the best 'freebie'. So really my only issue is the boredom and lack of affordable entertainment facilities, espcially for people who are completely bed bound. To summarise, the staff are absolutely incredible, I cannot fault them in any way! Would just be nice to be less bored whilst I'm here.
