"Very caring endoscopy dept."

About: Halton Hospital

I had an appointment today 20/10/2017 for an endoscopy, something I've never had before and was a bit nervous. I needn't have been as from the moment I entered the level of care was exceedingly high and the treatment was of the utmost standard. Friendly yet extremely professional throughout. The reception nurse even made an appointment for me at my own GP to follow the endoscopy procedure as I had an insect bite on my head which they looked at and decided it needed further investigation and possibly antibiotics. Nothing to do with my procedure or condition but demonstrated an extra level of advice and help. All the staff were so caring and attentive and couldn't have done more. The after care and advice was of an identical standard. 5 star service all round.
