"Very impressed patient visitor"

I recently came into Purbeck ward to visit my father for a week and I just wanted to say how very impressed I was with the care that he was given.

The ward was warm,clean and uncluttered and every single staff member that we saw or spoke to was cheerful,friendly and keen to help .

The speedy and efficient sequence of his treatment completely seemed to contradict all the doom and gloom of National Health statistics that we are constantly bombarded with by the media.

I want to say a big thank-you to everyone working on that ward .You are all amazing and doing a brilliant job for which we are very grateful
